Terms of Service

Suživot is a platform for matching and communication between people looking for long-term rentals and owners offering them, based on lifestyle compatibility. Suživot is not a real-estate agency, doesn't broker the tenancy itself, and doesn't process monthly rent payments — that happens directly between owner and tenant, off the platform. The Suživot Sporazum drafted within the app is based on the information you enter — it isn't legal advice or a substitute for a lawyer.

You must be at least 18 to use Suživot. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password safe. One person may hold only one account. We reserve the right to suspend an account that violates these terms, and to notify the user of the reason.

Suživot is built for direct arrangements between owners who control their own property and people looking for a place to rent — not real-estate agencies or agents listing on behalf of third parties. Registering or using the platform for that purpose isn't permitted.

Prohibited: posting fake listings or false information about yourself, harassment or discrimination against other users, using the platform for fraud, and any automated data scraping without our consent. Violating these rules may result in account suspension.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (descriptions, photos, messages, reviews). By publishing content, you grant Suživot permission to display it within the platform for its intended purpose (e.g. showing a listing to other users). You're responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and doesn't infringe on third-party rights.

The agreement drafted within the app is built solely from the information you and the other party entered. It doesn't constitute legal advice. Suživot's responsibility is limited to the technical correctness of the automatically generated draft, i.e. that the template is correctly filled in with the information entered — we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or legal validity of the content you and the other party entered or agreed on, nor for the consequences of applying it or failing to fulfil it. We recommend reviewing it together before signing, and involving a notary or lawyer if needed, especially if you want it to be formally enforceable.

Suživot charges its own fee for the matching and Sporazum-drafting service (currently shown as €5 for the owner / €5 for the searcher). The first 50 owners and first 20 searchers — counted separately for each of those two groups, from the moment they actually publish a listing or complete the quiz — don't pay this fee. At the time of writing these terms, this payment is simulated for testing and no real transaction is processed. Once payment becomes real, billing and refund details will be made clear before you're asked to pay. Monthly rent is never paid through Suživot.

Suživot doesn't guarantee the success of any match, the accuracy of listings published by users, or the outcome of any arrangement between users. You use the platform at your own risk. Suživot isn't responsible for disputes, damages, or losses arising outside the platform, including anything related to the actual tenancy and rent payments.

To the extent permitted by law, Suživot isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Suživot after changes are published is considered acceptance of the new terms.
